Shady Grove Innovation Center tenant Seegene raised $16.6 million in an IPO on KOSDAQ (Korea Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) giving the company a market capitalization of $167 million. Seegene plans to invest the new capital in expanding its international market presence, with an emphasis on the United States and Japan, where it is seeking regulatory approval for its portfolio of multiplex diagnostic PCR tests.
